We wanted to end our trip to Turkey with a bang, so decided to finish our trip in the coastal town of Bodrum. Trip Advisor rated the El Vino Hotel to be #1 in Bodrum City, so we were sold!
Our driver dropped us off at a beautiful gated entrance in a stone wall, leaving us to our own devices. We had to call in using a telephone outside the gate which reassured us about the privacy and the safety of our stay.
Each room was shrouded in beautiful bougainvillea giving the feeling of your own personal private oasis.
We celebrated our Anniversary dinner on the rooftop restaurant that had stunning views of the harbour, even at night. The food was amazing and although it was VERY busy, with every table in use, it was well worth making a reservation for.
We spent so little time in our hotel room, that it really wasn’t worth splurging on a suite, but it did give us a great space to relax, and stock up on some goodies in the kitchen.
We chose to relax and stay one day at the hotel where we had the use of a private pool and cabana without any reservations. This was definitely the most relaxing day of our 9 day trip.
With views like this one, who could resist walking down to the waterfront and exploring along the way.
